  1. “there is no military strategist who believes bombing the Houthi will do anything more than recruit more people to their cause”.

You are describing an MIC business strategy. More enemies, more profit.

  2. The Houthis are one of very few international groups that have given practical support to Palestine. Marches and solidarity actions like BDS are magnificent for those of us far removed from the Mid East, but hitting the imperialists where it hurts–their maritime supply chain–is staunch and effective.

American armed forces have long mocked those they kill, not as pathologically and joyfully perhaps as the IDF butchers, but it is a long standing tradition of their culture. Lets hope they are laughing on the other side of their twisted faces shortly after the US Election.

  3. Two things. First – it’s astonishing that actual military personnel have their consciousness shaped by a stupid fuc*ing movie, which inevitably means that it is not shaped by any knowledge of history. Second – that colonial projects are always based on assumptions of white supremacy. Neither of these should surprise or shock us, but they always do.

  4. Post irony? Where did it get posted to? Can someone find it in the Dead Letter Cubbyhole and send it back – post-haste of course.

  5. Georgie said it best – if you are not with us then you are against us – and we have enough bombs to take care of the rest, at least in the Middle East that is. This is the military strategy and we’ll let our mainstream media spin yarns thereafter. Like everywhere else, there’s nothing to see here folks….
