Well, I know who Greg O’Connor is. But who’s Chloe Swarbrick? And hasn’t she got something important to be doing?
God isn’t Chloe so cool, she can use twitter and burn all people over 30! In case she hasn’t noticed all the people who did all the heavy lifting on the social media she has used most of her life are closer to Greg’s age than hers. Maybe she should wait until her generation has actually achieved something before she is so scathing about previous generations.
As a Generation x slacker, who needed millenials to set up my first email (and who left me with a picture of Kirk from Metallica as my profile picture when I use WordPress) I totally get the joke.
I wouldn’t take it personally.
And, yeah, I know, my generation and my baby boomer parents didn’t not fight in the war to have these avocado munching snowflakes laugh at us…but then show me a generation that hasn’t found something to laugh at in ‘the olds’.
Y’know. Half of parliament went into this term thinking about the third one day international and the other half went on thinking it was a one day international and Labour is running off with all the runs while every one else just bump into each other playing checkers.
