US has used claims of a ‘war on drugs’ to justify its attacks, which have resulted in 83 deaths that the UN has called extrajudicial executions
Trump’s Venezuela drug claims are nonsense.
- He doesn’t have the authority to simply assassinate people he suspects of drug trafficking. What he is doing with his military strikes on speed boats are extrajudicial executions.
- His claim that Venezuela is trafficking fentanyl simply don’t stack up, they trade Cocaine, not fentanyl.
- Pretending Maduro is a narco terrorist to justify invading him is a total falsehood.
Trump is creating the excuses and justifications to over throw Maduro because he is a sociopathic man child who wants to use military strikes to butch up while distracting voters from domestic issues.
There is no justification for attacking Venezuela. I absolutely acknowledge the human rights abuses of Maduro, and he must answer for those crimes, but he isn’t even close to the threshold that would justify military intervention.
I personally can’t believe Trump is stupid enough to try this on, but when it’s Trump, he’s dumb enough to try anything to sow chaos.

There are no human rights abuses by Maduro. They belong in the same bullsyt category as he being a narco terrorist. Unfortunately for Maduro, there are no shortage of paid agitators within Venezuela and compromised non-governmental organizations that will paint a picture to suit our illustrious leader Donald Trump. There will be no human rights abuse allegations directed towards our illustrious leader, any time soon, providing he continues to work diligently for the billionaire class that runs the US, therefore, world politics.
The US Government has murdered people for decades. All recent presidents are complicit. As for the drugs? Ask that Mister Noriega from Panama how it all plays out.
This is nothing new. When I was at University I met a lovely Colombian lady 25 years ago who was working on her Masters of Science at University of Canterbury. She told me about the drugs war in Colombia. It started under Reagan, but might extend to earlier U.S. Presidents.
