Gaza toll could exceed 186,000, Lancet study says
The accumulative effects of Israel’s war on Gaza could mean the true death toll could reach more than 186,000 people, according to a study published in the journal Lancet.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, more than 38,000 Palestinians have been killed since Israel launched its military offensive on October 7 in the wake of deadly Hamas attacks.
…the reason why the 38 000+ number needs to be challenged is NOT because the numbers are over inflated, it’s because they are UNDER inflated!
They do not include the 10 000 who are believed to be under the rubble and they don’t include all the secondary deaths caused by Israel’s war crimes.
Israel’s appalling and illegal occupation of the Palestinian people requires a level of brutalism that is fascist level and what Israel’s disproportionate response to October 7th has unveiled is how malevolent the Israeli State truly is.
186 000 dead is genocide level murder.
The ramifications of this violence will cause a generation of anger at Israel for committing crimes against humanity and America for enabling it.
NZ needs to expel the Israeli Ambassador. We can not in good conscience allow representation here from a country whose actions have killed this level of people, no matter the justification of self defence.
