  1. How dare the council expect us to use trains and not have some safety in travel with the train.Young and old need care and attention etc. at times .What is the situation should another passenger decide to rob or injure or a passenger needs CPR??????? Does this not matter ? The council wishes us to use public transport and yet they expect this absolute danger at times with undesirables travelling on the train with noone to notify or raise attention to a non existance guard. This is outrageous.

  2. I travel by train all the time and feel very safe just knowing there’s a member of AT on board, not that I’ve experienced any trouble on train. Weekends definitely there must be a member of AT besides the driver whome we don’t even see. They command respect especially when they’re just walking about and someone has his/her legs on the seat. To be honest we need AT staff on trains besides the driver
