  1. “It’s not Toni Street who is being debased by the seating arrangement on Seven Sharp – it’s us the viewer who has to watch this crap.”

    Yes Truth in that martyn.

I have developed a allergy to watching the contorted face of that clown Mike Hoskings, soI by-pass that channel just because of him.

Why does a public owned chanel keep employing this buffoon at all??

He is simply a much racket and just a common crook spinning lies and propaganda that offends the listener mate?

  2. Mike Hosking is a one-man crime against broadcasting. His pro-National rants are particularly galling, as is his utter conviction that EVERYONE can become as successful and rich as he is, if they really want it: ‘cos his idol John Key, Paula Bennett, Oprah, himself etc, all came from poor families and look where they are now! Who cares that this argument doesn’t even pass one second of scrutiny, it sounds so inspirational! Toni Street looks pretty uncomfortable next to him imo; Carolyn Robinson is a much better co-host and seems to somehow contain Hosking’s ego better.

  3. Message to Toni:
Remember the old saying: “It is hard to soar like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys”.

  4. We’ve started switching to Al Jazeera news from 6.30pm on to get away from sport and Mike Hoskings and what ever the alternative is on TVNZ3, all least that way I see something of the world news from a different perspective.

  5. Why are Hosking and Street allowed to plug their radio shows on TVNZ? Is there some sort of commercial arrangement if not why are they allowed to do it. Why are they allowed to do it anyway? At some point we need a look at why media ownership rules were watered down. Its wall to wall NZME and National party propagandists where ever you look nowadays. Especially after Hosking successfully agitated to have public comments removed from the Herald. Now the BS just goes unchallenged. Could someone like Hosking succeed today? Probably not after he and his ladder pulling up mates Key and Bennet have had their way.
