Germany, France warn Donald Trump over threat to take over Greenland
Donald Trump has been warned by both Germany and France after the US president-elect refused to rule out the use of military force to take control of Greenland.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Thursday (NZT) that the principle of inviolability of borders applies to every country, however powerful, and suggested that expansionist comments by Trump are meeting with “incomprehension” among European leaders.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot told a French radio station “there is obviously no question that the European Union would let other nations of the world attack its sovereign borders”.
Barrot added that he did not believe the US would invade Greenland, but said the world had “entered into a period of time when it is survival of the fittest”.

I think he has ruled out war with Canada for now. The idea of a war to take Greenland did surprise. I had reckoned that Trump might see the prospect of a war with Venezuela as offering the highest cost/benefit ratio. However I have to admit the numbers look even better for invading Greenland because the troops and bases are already in place and the rotten state of Denmark will not put up a fight. So if decisions of war and peace are to be made according to the Trump Corporation investment criteria, then America’s enemies can breathe a sigh of relief and America’s friends will get what they always deserved.

Though before attacking Venezuela (which is primarily a target because it does not pretend ‘israel’ is a real country) it seems more likely that he will follow the orders of his masters and escalates the genocidal air attacks on Yemeni civilians that Biden is already perpetrating with the help of the Luxon regime, possibly with a ground invasion.
