The reason white people lurve James Meager is the exact same reason they lurve Winston Peters

The reason settler culture in NZ LURVE Winston Peters is because Winnie says all the racist stuff about Māori that white politicians can’t say.

Winston makes white racist people feel legitimised in their bigotry.

The exact same dynamic is at play with James Meager.

By denouncing the Left and saying all he needed was to pull himself up by his boot straps, Meager allows white settler culture to rejoice because they are allowed to ignore all the injustice of settler society and their entrenched privilege.

Here we have 2000 pages detailing the crimes of the Settler Government and their ongoing crimes of occupation AT THE SAME TIME as we have a new hard right racist Government hellbent on destroying any attempt at fulfilling the promise of the Treaty that challenges entrenched 19th Century White Settler privilege.

Meager will be loved by the settler culture because he is their new Winston, he will say the things that they want to hear and get to stamp on the face of Māori for their own agenda.

Remember – the current Treaty Negotiations Minister, Paul Goldsmith outrageously claimed that ‘on balance e’ colonisation was actually for da Māoris…

…this is why Waitangi Day this year has to to scare the fuck out of boomer settler culture.

The only way to put settler culture in its place is protest. This hard right racist Government can not be allowed to believe they can damage the fabric of society by enabling climate change polluters, anti-Māori agenda, anti-renter agenda and anti-worker agenda.

This new hard right racist Government must be confronted, and the protests at Waitangi Day this year when Luxon arrives must reverberate around the planet in global news headlines.

The racists have been enabled by this hard right racist Government, Waitangi next year is the first chance to show them they have bought a fight they won’t win.
