Gordon, I agree in principle but let’s not pick up ‘everyone’. Let’s leave the evil perpetrators to fend for themselves. There are more than enough decent human-beings in our world and country to form a new, fresh and caring society, but we need to separate the chaff from the wheat by not including the greedy, self-absorbed, cruel scumbags. We all know people who firmly fit into that pattern of behaviour. Let’s aim for a better world – surely it can’t get any worse! We must never give up. We must fight for decency, mutual respect and a huge dose of kindness.
