  1. Gordon, I agree in principle but let’s not pick up ‘everyone’. Let’s leave the evil perpetrators to fend for themselves. There are more than enough decent human-beings in our world and country to form a new, fresh and caring society, but we need to separate the chaff from the wheat by not including the greedy, self-absorbed, cruel scumbags. We all know people who firmly fit into that pattern of behaviour. Let’s aim for a better world – surely it can’t get any worse! We must never give up. We must fight for decency, mutual respect and a huge dose of kindness.

When we rail at desperate immigrants for taking our jobs in benefit to corporate profits, or our means of production being are taken overseas to wage slave factories, or our healthcare system is controlled by big pharma’s profit margins, rather than the public good, or when the planet burns, and our leaders don’t lift a finger and in fact exacerbate it, or when our wages can’t keep up with inflationary polices supporting the one percent, or when we vote, and the only choices are which billionaires wet dreams we will suffer, or when we choose penis heads, pin heads and fat heads to play on our prejudices, or when we revile those who save our lives because there is a small cost in helping our neighbors, or when we lap up bullshit like it’s chocolate pie, or when we let injustice go unpunished while justice is ignored, or when we let social media determine who and what we can or cannot like, and all because we don’t think for ourselves, or actually research the difference between Ill thought opinions (and feelings) and actual facts, it is then that we are all slaves. When we can’t tell the forest from the tree cutters…
