Israeli annexation in West Bank is ‘red line’, says UAE
Israeli moves to annex parts of the occupied West Bank are a “red line” for the United Arab Emirates, one of the few Arab countries to recognise Israel, a senior official has said.
Annexation in the West Bank would “severely undermine” the Abraham Accords that established ties in 2020, said Lana Nusseibeh, the foreign ministry’s assistant minister for political affairs.
Last month, Israel approved a major settlement project just east of Jerusalem that the international community has warned threatens the viability of future Palestinian statehood.
And on Wednesday, Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for annexation of swathes of the West Bank, after Belgium became the latest country to announce it would recognise Palestine as a state.
“From the very beginning, we viewed the Accords as a way to enable our continued support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate aspiration for an independent state,” Nusseibeh said in a statement sent to AFP.
When even the UAE who have acquiesced to Israel to the point they are meaningless, when even they are red lining Netanyahu, you know shit just got real.
Annexing Gaza, annexing the West Bank and getting back whatever remains of the hostages are the only interests of Israel and Trump is very likely to give Bibi what he wants.

Google under fire for $45m deal with Netanyahu’s office to spread Gaza genocide propaganda
Google signed a $45 million contract with the Israeli prime minister’s office to run a global digital advertising campaign promoting Israeli state messaging during its ongoing genocide in Gaza. The contract, first reported by Drop Site News, includes advertisements placed on YouTube and through Google’s Display & Video 360 platform, explicitly described in government documents as part of Israel’s propaganda war.
Signed in June 2025, the contract with Google—covering YouTube and Display & Video 360, the company’s digital ad service—authorised an extensive propaganda campaign labelled explicitly as hasbara, a Hebrew term denoting state-backed propaganda, often deployed to whitewash Israeli military actions.
The campaign was launched as international condemnation grew over Israel’s decision to cut off all food, fuel and humanitarian supplies to Gaza on 2 March, triggering what UN agencies describe as a man-made famine.
One of the most widely viewed outputs of the campaign was a YouTube video by Israel’s foreign ministry, falsely claiming, “There is food in Gaza. Any other claim is a lie.” The ad was viewed over 6 million times, heavily boosted through paid promotion under the government contract.

I’m guessing “annex” isn’t quite the right term, since Palestine is not a recognised country(?). It’s more like “occupation”, and everyone knows that “possession is nine-tenths of the law”, which means everything Israel occupies it now legally owns. As long as the US thinks what Israel is doing okay (and they do), Israel is going to keep on doing what they are doing, and no-one is going to stand in their way. It’s not even a partisan issue – remember this whole incursion into Gaza started under Biden who also did exactly nothing to curtail Netanyahu.
Pray tell where exactly is Israels international recognized borders as they constantly change with their land grab since 1948?
