Police arrest Netanyahu aide as opponents accuse him of leaking intelligence to thwart Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal

Israeli police have arrested a top aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over allegedly leaking classified information to foreign media.

Opposition leaders say the intelligence was “faked,” and part of a ruse to thwart a ceasefire and hostage deal in Gaza.

The investigation centers on allegations that the prime minister’s office promoted to foreign media the claim that Hamas was planning on smuggling hostages out of Gaza over the Egyptian border and creating divisions in Israeli society to pressure Netanyahu into a hostage release and ceasefire deal.

Eliezer Feldstein, who has been named by opposition politicians as an aide to Netanyahu, is among several people being interrogated over the leak of “classified and sensitive intelligence information,” according to court documents. A court order made public on Sunday said that information taken from the Israeli military’s systems and “illegally issued” may have damaged Israel’s ability to free hostages held by Hamas in Gaza

 

The idea that Netanyahu’s Government purposely leaked false propaganda to stymie a hostage deal is just so shocking, which is shocking in of itself because his Government has shocked us time and time and time again during this appalling real time ethnic cleansing.

The obscenity of the allegation is so extreme that even CNN have reported on it.

With Trump now in power, expect Israel to go from war crime to genocide lite, it was Trump who started the very conflict we have seen erupt on October 7th.

Trump let’s not forget started this latest spasm of violence by making Jerusalem the Capital because his evangelical base believe the Book of Revelation prophecy of Armageddon will only occur if Israel regains its old boundaries.

This led Palestinians to riot in the West Bank and Gaza, this in turn saw radical Zionist extremists elected for the Settlements, they joined Netanyahu’s Government wanting to overturn the Judiciary  rulings against their Settlements and this in turn saw enormous protests against the Zionist extremists from Israeli society.

It was also Trump’s decision to sideline the Palestinians in the Abraham Accords which all added the fuel that ignited on October 7th.

With the full throated backing of Trump, Netanyahu will take the unique opportunity to do things beyond conscience to seize more Palestinian land.

The IDF are already saying Palestinians will not be allowed back into Northern Gaza.

We are witnessing an atrocity and we are on the side of those committing the atrocity.

We should all feel deeply ashamed for what has happened and what is still yet to come.

May history damn us and judge us harshly..
