Mind you, OnceWasTIm, I think Arthur Taylor aquitted himself very well answering those questions. Hopefully it might even have prompted the comfortable propertied middle classes to engage a couple of brain cells and think through what he was telling us.
He made a powerful case for police to abandon the (mis-)use of secret witnesses and so-called “jailhouse confessions”.
Agreed, and he did.
