I’m not one for flag waving. In the past I have always viewed it as a bit sinister.
However that said, I’m so pleased our old girl won the day over the insulting, insipid tea towel alternative. She has served us well in the past and I’d still like to see her continue to flap and wave in the breeze for some time yet, until we become a republic, when she can be laid to rest with good reason and with some dignity.
FJK wearing HIS flag option as a lapel badge at formal occasions, representing NZ (signing of TPP for instance) and in Parliament is treason! Attempting to change our ensign and possibly our heritage at the same time, is the direct action of a traitor! And FJK is a traitor of the highest degree!
