The Greens are set to release their alternative emissions reduction plan tomorrow.
But the headline today is Chlöe Swarbrick won’t commit to leading Greens after 2026.
It was only ten months ago Chlöe pledged to overcome Labour as the voice on the left., now she is thinking of quitting.
And decides to make that publicly known a day before their big policy announcement.
Timing eh?
I get a gut feeling of sadness from this image of the boxer.
What I see is an old white guy who looks self-indulgent and vain with dyed hair who has got to an elevated position involved in sports and a young man in his prime he can manipulate in some way. Happens FTTT in NZ boxing.

Many of them have been in state care, experienced sexual abuse and also the loss of their babies being uplifted….
Homeless women were “largely invisible”, wanting to stay off the streets and instead staying in “terrible living situations” such as abusive relationships.

In the absence of middle class women putting time into helping all their sisters as equals, maybe the Greens could lead the way with some new moves that would be truly helpful and practical. If not – here’s one for transport and some shelter. Bikes would still be a good line Chloe. There is a pushbike made that has a stiff hood over the rider, more practical for all weathers. What about taking up that as a new line of green thinking that affects individuals everyday cares directly?
