  1. This highlights thepromiscuous approach to suppliers that supermarkets use.
    Local berries mau still be sold but the supermarket of New World etc which has n-house brand Pams will put up their own competition to the locals. This is possibly the case here. Not content with all the ways they can charge or control prices from suppliers they can verticallly integrate and push original suppliers off their shelves.

    Twelve cases of hepatitis A prompted Foodstuffs to recall some Pams frozen berry products while government food safety specialist investigated into the source of the illness.
