I’m reading the Francis duo’s Even Money. I’m getting some good ideas to spice up our political scene. One is to take bets on the election starting about a year before and the odds being worked out by one firm using a computer and another firm using the old-time fine-tuning plus computer info to set the bets which would alter; I don’t quite know how this works but it seems to in the Francis books.
This would be a way of attracting attention and the small guy could have a go as well as the big one. We would pass a special law to enable it. We need something more visceral than the tote we have.
