An Australian trick cyclist or something garnering a few brownie points for himself by offering us platitudes about Tom Phillips and his family,. He and his words are entirely irrelevant in our today’s society that has in its recent past the condoning of Lake Alice brutality. And that was just a bit worse than Magdalena laundry units that have been around for centuries. Workhouses in the UK for single women and their children or poor widowed ones were the same.
We should know better, we could know better, but no-one has plainly excoriatingly stated that people get meaner and more self-oriented the more money and comfort they have. So keep an eye on the clan but don’t drag them through all the emotional diatribe and then break up what might be a small, solid tribe at present. Our lives are breaking up, they might be forming something equivalent, but then might be better.
