I’ve said it before – putting Maori names on everything merely is a Maoriwash and confusing. What relates to Maori in particular? As a pakeha I think they should be taking charge of some things om their own ways under an agreed rational plan watched for good measured outcomes. The various departments and services can be notified in two languages – ones with Maori measures with Maori first then pakeha; and that reversed or other departments etc. in their signage.
