Those who believe in exceptionalism could be interested in a meeting about womens rights. And they at the meeting are likely to believe that people who are dually or wrongly gendered are the exceptions to the norm!
Public meetings are being held in Auckland [4 July], New Plymouth [6 July], Wellington [9 July], and Christchurch [10 July].
How can it be that people cannot be the gender they are born with, if they are okay with that? Who would have imagined there were so many fiddle fingers around who would want to play god and believe that in the neoliberal society that anything goes; you just have to be in a lucky spot position to win whatever you want. Next year the PTB will have another brainfart and it will be out of fashion. The genuine people with issues can get smothered in the tide of 21st century disaffection clamouring for change. Changes are truly needed but as usual humans go to extremes and many have been fired up by emotional internet responses and media indoctrination.
