Interesting essay and comments on the Trotter – most valid in my opinion.
He probably lost his way when his mate (and my former flatmate) Gerry (Gerard) died.
Trotter’s a bit of a worry. I mean that for His sake. I don’t have the emotional ‘capital’ to give a shit either way about Him. One thing’s for sure: left wing he ain’t unless you’re into the veneer of Formica
Maybe he’s trying to beat out a new leftwing for the 21st century in his blacksmiths workshop. Where you look at something and know it and how it will stay and perform under pressure with a small amount of movement allowed for.
