A couple waiting to be reunited say families and relationships should be prioritised over tourists

This is where immigration department officials are undercutting our nation’s overseas image and running the place to suit themselves. After all our main business seems to involve in moving people into NZ to get their money from them but we human animals can express our needs and shouldn’t be overlooked. We don’t expect to be treated like animals of which we are said to be efficient managers. High praise for our pastural care there.

  2. Greymouth and Westport are two west SI towns that have been hit by storms flooding etc of recent years. Yet there was hardly any information on google about them, especially little about Greymouth. There was West Coast information but I think that the various towns need to have a short report after storm conditions like now. They may internally be using facebook but I think that there is too much reliance on this site.

  3. Talking about saving lives is such a great excuse for stopping us doing things in our lives or else we will take money from you that you need for other things. Making our lives worth living and giving us skills to help us do so, would be a good expenditure. The Transport Agency expects new speed cameras to triple the number of drivers caught, increasing from 1 million to 3 million offences a year…
The torpedoing of what Waka Kotahi called the “Big Bang expansion” is revealed in a business case released to RNZ under the OIA.
It looked at six camera options for “increased certainty of detection”, to run alongside “more severe penalties, and faster processing of penalties”.

Can’t Labour bring itself to invest in people, to have regular night classses to learnm useful stuff, to reward safe driving, to give time off from school to study the Book and get the Licence as part of modern education. All it knows is how to throw banana skins hoping I think that people will slip and money can be extracted from them. I say reduce the pollies pay, set a target for their area of responsibility with bonuses as they achieve different, well-explained targets and then they can earn like the rest of us. Lie as much as you want but if no success, no extra moolah.
