It’s not having sex that is bad, it is not honouring each other’s affectionate regard and the interaction involved in sharing a very personal happening which is best for one’s inner being to be kept private, not a show-off performance. Even rodeos are questioned these days! I think it should be called ‘joining’. If it isn’t special and personal then it gets devalued, and becomes drug-like. What do others think?

This Dunedin thing is not good. I once was on a jury about two young people having had, I presume, sex. It was brought forward as rape because of just being underage done in a private corner in a public place. I had to decide on rape for the girl as the teenage boy was ultimately the one that carried the action forward. But I felt that some obligatory sex lessons, and about growing up, about disease, about the life force in us all and its life-long effects would have been better. Sex education when my youngsters were teens wasn’t up to much. and probably still isn’t good, too involved in the mechanics and not with the heart. We might have to grow up fast and embrace what humanity we have left in this our late era/epoch at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
