Engineer – a word with a large number of meanings and in this late part of the only bit of 21st century we are likely to experience, it is a word to fear rather than applaud. (CTV is just part of the rorting of the physical type.noun: engineer; plural noun: engineers
1. a person who designs, builds, or maintains engines, machines, or structures.
2. a person who controls an engine, especially on an aircraft or ship.
verb
1. design and build (a machine or structure).
2. skilfully arrange for (something) to occur.
(Plus all the synonyms which expand the word 360 degrees).
We’re going to be engineered to hell I think.
This was an engineer who helped build NZ strong – Charles Turner. He did help with the southern aluminium smelter but its toxicity would not have been realised then. Amazing career.
