  1. RNZ: “The Gummint has signaled the possibility of intervening in the Wellington City Council…..”

Please! Cloe et al – keep ya mouth closed. Que Sera sera. What I would say unto thee, While this gummint will probably go down as the worst in the history (herstory) of man and wimminkind, the WCC is definately the worst Wellingtonians have ever experienced.
I never imagined muppetry would become a high-paying occupation, but that’s where we’re at.

  2. I probably should qualify WHY Cloe needs to keep her trap shut re Wellington. (Hint. For a party needing to regain credibility in an environment where the pendulum has swung too far right – you’re really not helping yourselves)
Solidarity is great. Best keep quiet though when those that claim Green creds (such as tory Tory Whanau) keep making complete fools of themselves. (Cloe – think of the greater good)
I’m back in the room after many several weeks in San Fran and the Bay Area (cycle lanes, articulated trolley buses, resurrection of mothballed rail, the potential for re-use, the plight of gig workers and the exceptionalism of the upper middle class lycra clads).
I just tried to negotiate Thorndon Quay. But before that – Molesworth Street!.
    Jesus wept.
So…….. Bowen Street, AND Molesworth Street, AND Murphy Street, AND Thorndon Quay?
In most cases BOTH sides of the road?
It was between 11 and 12. Not one cyclist. not ONE.
Is it possible to find the names of people designing these fuckups?

I think this feeling and wondering is spreading like an oil slick on water. Eventually that can enclose seabirds and they eventually die. I’m not quite sure how nemesis will come to the beltway peeps – perhaps the office greenery will change into stinging, moving triffid-like mutations and the staff will end up stiff or have to sit defensively with their chairs backing onto a wall.
