And ACC isn’t all it is cracked up to be we already know. But if you are awarded compensatory monies the state wants you to spend it all straight away like a profligate. Can’t keep it away for future assistance, breakdown in health etc. or you have benefit or grants cut right back.
So there isn’t much compassion in NZ and standards that would be expected, as seen from the Lake Alice findings. Having changes of government merely means that the incumbents can always push it off onto the other side. Politics as a sports arena? I think we would find better deportment there than in our departments!
