  1. I look forward to reading more from the writers contributing to The Daily Blog.

I may not be able to comment all the time, but I do read and pass on links to others on my Twitter feed.

  2. well done to TDB, keep on truck’n’!!

as long as there are a couple of marxist inspired writers I am more than happy with the rest of the crew

Bombers style is fine, they don’t like it up ’em–the 1%ers and their sycophants that is–just do that fact check before pressing “go”

there are enough blogs for every style from “luvvie” to “seriously bent” which puts TBD in the stylistic middle really, but where it really wins is the wide range of contributors and now the regular broadcast

  3. And a cast of hundreds (thousands perhaps?) of regular commentators

  4. Excellent new line up, great seeing Labour MPs on the list. Very happy about that.

I read a while back that The Standard is losing a lot of their authors etc. don’t know why, but I can see why The Standard is losing their readership though. TS’s often mindless negative bashing commentary, particularly against the Labour Party is most off-putting. The hatefest against Labour, often led by a most petty and vindictive troll Colonial Viper, who not only doesn’t seem to allow any opportunity to pass to have a go at slagging and lying about Labour, whilst giving National a free pass, he often abuses and bans people if he is challenged as well. So, instead of an intelligent discussion, the thread descends into a vicious attack as other trolls hop on board Viper’s train of hate. I can see why it would put people off, and why more and more people would rather come to the Daily blog for a more reasoned discussion that stays on topic AND as an added bonus, TDB has an awesome current affairs program every night too !!
