Protest today against rip-off of overseas students
A group of Chinese students are demanding that the government help them after NZQA have closed their school and discovered that the owner has stolen most of their money.

FFS – will one of you journalists do your actual job and directly ask…
‘Did you or any of your mercenary mates kill any civilians while on tour in Iraq’
…not ‘did you kill anyone’, that isn’t the question! GET HIM ON RECORD!
According to the government’s National Interest Analysis released yesterday, there would be a very small economic benefit from TPP-11. The costs and risks are far higher, including the real constraints on democratic decision-making and regulation of our economy to meet the challenges ahead. The TPP-11 is not in the interests of the New Zealand people. It should not be signed.
“TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE.” That’s what I would say to David Parker on the day he released the text of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). With the signing ceremony due to take place in the Chilean capital, Santiago, on 8 March – a mere fortnight from the document’s release – the time available for thorough public scrutiny and debate is simply too short.
This man is now running for the leadership of the largest political party in NZ, not answering about his time as a mercenary in a war zone where mercenaries were ruthlessly murderous just isn’t an option!
Relying on corporate media to be our fourth estate was always going to be problematic when their focus is on profit over democratic obligation, it’s time for the new Government to seek a new public broadcasting relationship if we are to have watch dogs rather than corporate lap dogs.
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, the Public ‘Service’ is this Government’s real enemy and the Left need to get their heads around that rather than suck up to the PSA.
We have a situation where 2 out of the 5 current candidates have the ability to be dictators. National should be concerned, NZ should be alarmed.
In my opinion, Mark Mitchell was a mercenary in a brutal occupation of Iraq based on the lie of weapons of mass destruction. This is ethically questionable and morally repugnant because Bush passed Order 17 in Iraq which allowed private military contractors to be legally exempt from Iraqi law.
Another damning and damaging denouncement of Chinese influence in NZ has been penned by Professor Anne-Marie Brady who recently revealed that she had been threatened and her home broken into (something that Jacinda bewilderingly only learnt about through the media and not our own security agencies) and it once again begs the question, why the fuck are the sleepy hobbits of muddle Nu Zilind not up in arms about all of this?
