  2. Unfortunately, if significant compensation is won, any benefits or super will be reduced if it is then counted as income.

    1. Actually it would be a cash asset.

      This would affect IRRS if over the 42,000 limit, but would have immediate effect on TAS.

    2. That is a valid point, Rosielee. It may take ministerial action to avoid a “double hit” against affected beneficiaries. In essence another state organ would be engaged in a vendetta against ex-tenants. This cannot be allowed to happen.

  3. HNZ needed a tenancy order and even then they probably have to store the belongings (not sure if they can though if they are contaminated as would effect safe storage)… can’t believe under the Natz they did not get tenancy orders before proceeding… or maybe I can!

    The entire exercise was mostly a hoax of faux safety to get their hands on selling off state houses cheap to mates and getting hefty consultant fees to mates.. hope they prosecute those private companies that made decisions and benefited to those dodgy deals!

    1. Don’t forget the private companies with bogus reports too, RICKOSHAY to take legal action against as well as people paid to authorise misleading levels as part of the committee preparing the reports.

  6. Maybe if someone with computer or graphics skills could make this information into a notice that could be downloaded and pinned onto notice boards like the library or the shops.

    I often read these things on The Daily Blog and think, this is the sort of information that needs to be read by people in my neighbourhood and places like Camberley or Maraenui, not just the DB readers.

    1. Yes what i do is print it off and show it to people. I make them aware of what is happening and direct them to the nearest community law office near them if they were affected by these kinds of treatment. it is unacceptable.
