  1. Why would you want this lazy pompous twat back in Parliament.
He is the most idiotic person you could possibly met who talks absolute rubbish and has achieved even less than his so called illustrious leader.
Both have feathered their own nests at taxpayers expense for far too long.

    1. Well said that man. It would be a sad day when National needs Shane Jones help to get into power.

  2. It may come as news to some–but Shane Jones is not personally majorly popular in the Far North for a number of reasons, and has not been for years. As for the mid North who knows, did not do too well last time. But if the Naztos run an Epsom style greasy slider he might have a chance because Labour have a new candidate this time.

Shame NZ First are such wankers overall because the Provincial Growth Fund (PGF) actually delivered a lot for the North such as jettys and wharves in tiny settlements few have heard of, freight depot for Morewa, Business Park in Kaikohe, rebuild on rail lines to handle container traffic, 3 sorely needed state highway roundabouts at Kawakawa, Waipapa, & Puketona (Paihia turnoff), and lots of business start ups and improvements.

    1. I heard from a couple of Maori from the area he is not popular with a large number of voters in the area for a variety of reasons and as say he did not do well in the last election despite all the money he directed to the area

    2. Yes TM, the much decried PGF actually funded many things that would never happen otherwise but the political rhetoric ignores this in entirety. Arguably there were better things to spend the money on but they omit the fact that the PGF did actually fund many small items that were needed right across the country all the way to Stewart Island.

  3. And I have a rooster in Westport that’s keen for a career in politics if any of the major parties are happy to supply a bowl of wheat occasionally.
