Sending an artist to prison for 2 and a half years for selling drugs highlights how evil the war on drugs really is in NZ

This is fucking insane…

Hastings artist Dali Susanto sent to jail for dealing LSD, MDMA, magic mushrooms, cannabis

  • Artist Dali Susanto sold various drugs, including LSD, MDMA, magic mushrooms and cannabis-laced cookies and lollies
  • His lawyer said he wasn’t dealing for money, just an ‘artisan’ supplying friends and acquaintances.
  • But Judge Richard Earwaker noted it wasn’t ‘a one-off’ and has sent him to jail.

…throwing an artist in prison for 2 and a half years for selling the good drugs, the drugs that more are using in psychotherapy, not the bad drugs, and thinking that is justice shows how warped our so called ‘justice’ system has become.

This is not a criminal…

…this is a modern day Shaman making amazing art and performing an important service to potter artists.

Throwing a beautiful soul like Dali Susanto into prison is a sick system, not a justice process.

We need a legal recreational market  for cannabis with ring fenced money from profits to fund long term rehabilitation programmes. This allows you to cope with meth addicts, cocaine addicts and alcohol addicts. It also gives the domestic gangs a means to sell specific strains of cannabis legally and enable an income that doesn’t require illegal drugs.

The heavy handed police tactics  we saw in Opotiki aimed at domestic gangs needs to be used on the 501 syndicates because their connection with Cartels is actually destabilising. The SIS and GCSB should intercept international communications with the Chinese Mirror Banking associates that are allowing the transfer of money between the 501 syndicates and the Cartels.

We need a legal market for MDMA because the ease with which it can be bought online alongside the ease with which it can be swapped out fro something else is a real threat. We need drug testing at festivals to be far more wide spread.

We need to look at ​Hallucinogens to be legal inside therapy.

We need to remove vapes from sale immediately and have them available via prescription inside chemists instead.

We need to remove booze from Supermarkets and keep them inside booze retailers only.

We need new ideas for these new problems. Throwing Artists in jail for 2 and. half years is not a fucking solution.

  1. I see police had a raid in Wellington yesterday in the up market Kandahla where a large amount of drugs were found along with cash and flash cars .Clearly a couple of rich pricks as the cops were not shouting about catching more gang members selling drugs .
    The poor old red necks will be squirming now the cops have realized who the enablers of drug funding might be.
    Mean while I see we can now have police helping out at Tangis now with 70 being sent to a Tangi near Tauranga to arrest a couple of t shirts .While they were doing that 500 family harm incidents were going on .Now thats real crime that needs sorting ,not the wardrobes of a few .I mean WTF 70 cops to tell a few what they can and cant wear at a Tangi

The land of the wrong white crowd… I used to think Australians were thick, untill I went there, and discovered that it is NZers that have almost no clues as to what is actually important… Too many “crackers” with far too little intelligence, and no idea just how utterly irrelevant they are to what is important to human society.. It’s people like you who have forced me to pretend to be Australian when in Europe, as NZ has both disappeared from any kind of humanitarian activism, and has now become “fascist” to overseas observers, and journalists… You would make the perfect poster child for NZs utter irrelevance now…

  5. What a disgusting sentence of only two and a half years. We need anti-drug policies like those in Singapore. If you’re caught dealing drugs, you meet your new friend, the noose, which is a career ending handshake with the afterlife.

  6. That’s a ridiculous sentence I really hope he doesn’t have to serve all that time and who the hell was that anachronistic judge. This is not where police should be spending their resources. If they had to punish him they should have given him a bracelet. The boy racer that went back and punched a father in Warkworth, in his driveway, nearly killing him and maiming him for life, got off scott free. Where is the justice? This guy gets two years for that?
