  1. Plant series – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZ_5RmMvV74. I think other episodes are available on YouTube, but need to be searched for.

I am convinced that raw, flowers of the sacred plant would heal me of the considerable pain I’ve experienced for decades due to Multiple Sclerosis. Too many NZers are abysmally ignorant of the great benefits of cannabis to many ill of all ages. The referendum is in danger of being lost by those who ARE KNOWLEDGEABLY INFORMED due to the biases of the ignorant. I am almost sad to acknowledge that much of the best research has been/is done in Israel.

  2. National Party spokesperson Bennett dropped a clanger on Breakfast last week and recognised that research showed legalising cannabis doesn’t increase youth use but quote “Doesn’t decrease it either”. Sounds pretty benign then, cannabis sitting on the spectrum somewhere between not habit forming and not habit forming. Full legalisation (open, anonymous access and use perhaps via a dispensary, cafe or a personal pot plant, versus getting middled by a government clinician) will take the product out of the hands of pushers and pimps for one, and also free up police to catch the real baddies.

  3. Just reading your headline leaves me in no doubt, once again, it’s the boomers! Oh and a few health professionals jumping up and down on the
sidelines. The conservatives once again want to stop all fun in life and return all effort to the economy. Bloody damn old bastards can’t keep their big gobs shut. What do they know about smoking weed. Zilch.

  4. That is fantastic news, cronies like Hoskins will again be exposed as the liars they truely are. Unfortunately, for their audience 30+ years of state sponsored brainwashing will negate any facts – facts seem to be irrelevant to this group because they view this as a “morale” issue and will vote with their ”conscience” regardless of the facts.

I recently when to a public lecture by the neuroscience educator Nathan Wallis who contradicted Paula Bennett’s every utterance and was 1000 times more concerned about the damage alcohol does to the development of the brain in people under 25!

  5. Is the MSM culpable for deaths from synthetic drug use?

Given the MSM’s obsession with calling these deadly drugs “synthetic cannabis”, its no wonder that a Professor beginning a new study into the deadly toxicity of synthetic cannabinoids says “people are thinking it’s just another kind of cannabis but it’s not; it’s a chemical made in a lab sprayed onto plant material” .

We must therefor be very vigilant and vocal at calling out the MSM’s reckless disregard for public safety in their deliberate attempts to muddy the waters in the buildup to the cannabis referendum.

  6. Great words Chris. Ignorance, fear, hypocrisy and lies have hindered sensible debate and clouded the minds of many who are uninformed. Lets hope the public listens to and understands the Panel over the FamilyFirst harmful lies.
