The Right Wing Hate Bots in NZ seem to have multiplied recently and are everywhere spreading lies and falsehoods.

These Hate Bots keep spreading ZB Troll Farm Talking Points and we see them wash up in the comments section of TDB a lot, so let’s deal with these falsehoods directly.

The Right Wing Hate Bots keep framing the Left’s concerns with the Gang Patch Ban as us loving organised crime. The idiocy of that talking point is offensive. The Left are concerned with Gang Patch Bans because we see every human has intrinsic rights and civil liberties that the State should protect, not imprison!
We on the Left understand the majority of people in the legacy gangs are former wards of the State who were abused by the fucking State!
We on the Left understand the deep trauma of these communities and know that further punishment doesn’t work to reduce their number.
We on the Left also know the influx of 501’s with a sophisticated and uber violent criminal culture are generating the current violence and that a gang patch ban is just a virtue signal for the stupid.
We on the Left don’t love gangs, we understand why they formed and know that dismantling them requires more than redneck pandering.

We are getting this a lot by Right Wing Hate Trolls on TDB, it goes like this, ‘Bomber you complain about Newshub all the time and yet you support them and why are the Left wanting to give corporate welfare to Corporations’.
We on the Left can damn the quality of journalism by Newshub WHILE acknowledging Newshub’s importance to the fourth estate infrastructure.
We on the Left have zero interest in corporate welfare for corporations, but we do acknowledge that the media market in this country is broken and the responsibility of Government is to regulate Capitalism and making TV1 commercial free to allow that advertising dollar to go to Newshub would be a means of regulating the broken media market.

Tobacco kills 67% of those who smoke it. Weed does not.
We would never allow a product that kills 67% of users on the market, especially one that its addictive!
Both markets should be regulated heavily!
A regulated cannabis market would generate economic activity and generate 5000 jobs!

“Queers for Palestine”
The Right Wing Hate Bots mock ‘Queers for Palestine’ by claiming all Muslims hate gays and would throw them off a tall building if they were there. What this misses is that anyone of conscience can see the immorality of Israel’s disproportionate ethnic cleansing war crime response and support Palestinians regardless of their cultural clashes with our values.
“Queers for Palestine” is transcending those culture clashes to stand with the Palestinians, this is our strength on the Left, not our weakness.
These right wing hate bot talking points are bad faith actors spewing lies to eclipse the real issues.
