The taxpayers paid for the construction and the numerous upgrades to the refinery and then the Government just gave it away to its current oil company owners along with another $87m as a sweetener. I agree that we should just take it back or if we feel kind pay the current book value of the site after all the depreciation that has been claimed.

      It is a no brainer to buy it back just on Security of supply grounds alone.
