…we tell ourselves that Trump is all bluster, and for the most part that is true, but Trump now believes that God saved him from that assassination attempt and the difference between war crime and genocide always seems to be believing in God.
The things beyond Trump are all deceits and his usual lies, but the things directly in Trump’s power will be regarded as gospel.

Seems to me Trump is blowing a smokescreen of confusion talking about Canada and Greenland joining the US, renaming the Gulf of Mexico etc. They are all close to home. Hopefully that means abandoning the neocon unipolar project in favour of being a regional power in a multipolar world.
