  1. This is important to be informed about and needs action against it. It is affecting our whole political system. Parliament is not meant to be an apprenticeship for young or old, ambitious people to virtually interview future employers for themselves from well-paid positions in Wellington or other seats of power. And most of the time these people are indeed seated remember. True work with and for the people requires probably standing, working with the hands, particularly physical work; manual work does not mean once a year.

  4. America has the biggest revolving door, they don’t even try to disguise the lobbying from former government employees who leverage insider and publicly funded knowledge. Some are even making money while still in public office, somehow receiving large stock returns on investments directly related to their portfolios.
