1. Genuine nasty weasels are puzzled and offended as they try to work out how they got included in this rant.
   ‘ We may be introduced, destructive pests,’ said their spokesweasel, ‘ but we draw the line at involvement with NBR’

2. I bought a copy of NBR once at a news stand about 21 years ago, to read a story on the Ellis case.
   I felt extraordinarily uncomfortable making the purchase, reminiscent of how I once felt as a teenager buying my first condoms.
