    I don’t get this line of questioning? No, absolutely no conflict of interest in passing this law.

  3. The Doctrine of Discovery was based upon racist theories that Non-Europeans were not human, and therefore had no property or human rights, and could not safely govern themselves. Based upon that theory, Europeans ignored na�ve property and poli�cal rights, and set up governments on Indigenous lands.
