Is this a bit of a stab in the back at the Greens under helping them….
I think this blogger had it right
“The target of this PR is not the hippy greens, nor the impoverished people the Greens say the represent, nor the Maori that Metiria Turei had seemed keen on targeting not long ago.
This is certainly a new Green image, without much green showing at all, in colour and in character.”

Looks like Chloe is in the centre and with a small push could topple Metiria off the podium. I guess the righties have their dreams.
It might be about exposure, but a picture tells a thousand words, maybe the MSM dream is to get the ‘young beautiful people’ (easily malleable) into the Greens and purge out the ‘middle aged ugly green’ people. (The old Greens have already gone).
I’m all for the old Greens to come back but I disagree with the commentators about the types of young Greens coming into the mix – it’s gonna be trouble for the future because these newbies seem to be only Green in careers and electric cars – they have little relationship to the Green environmental issues of old – maybe they don’t see a future in boring old forests and ugly animals like bats.
Clever, beautiful people don’t vote National
