Nice to see John acting and organising rather than just bleating ad nauseam as so many do in online forums–not that we should expect any less from John Minto!
Whereas I don’t agree with Jay’s victorian deserving and undeserving poor number, the “urban terrorist” as he calls them are a serious problem. I know a situation in Christchurch City Housing where a 6 year old boy endured screeching abuse and death threats from a white power thug. The CCC said its a police matter. Police and they it’s a CCC matter. The CCC said “he shouldn’t be there in the first place” (he had every right) and later re white power “they’re worldly people – you should just not let him play on the grass” (which were the common grounds until the thugs took it over) The police told a concerned citizen “look mate, they’re animals. They should be put on a desert island to kill each other. If they want policing they should pay for it”.
