  1. Labour and the Green’s proposed annual “ wealth tax” on assessed capital gains for superannuitants stuck in their own homes, is horrendous, especially for persons on fixed incomes. This may emanate from Marama Davidson whose antipathy towards “ millionaire “ home owners seemed to equal her irrational prejudice against white men who aren’t gay or transgender IMO. It could drive desperate elderly persons into debt, or suicide. The Greens have a history of disparaging older people which is so nasty that one can only wonder whether they have majorly dysfunctional parental relationships and would be better out of the political arena until they get themselves sorted, assuming that’s possible.

Peters prioritising education is both welcome and necessary for the sake of our children and the future of New Zealand. It also has the potential to produce more well-informed politicians than we are burdened with now, and that is a consummation devoutly to be wished. The end of secret agendas on Bowen Street can also only be healthy for democracy.

Winston Peters appears as unlike to commandeer a shiny black Mercedes’ to travel a few metres up Bowen Street as Luxon would be to ride a horse, or catch a fish that doesn’t come out of an overpriced package in the supermarket from maybe the company of some podgy character with a knighthood employing desolate Russian workers far from their own land and families instead of training our own young people and helping to provide them with a stable future, IMO, and the idea of Mr Peters ever regretting being unable to help shut women up – unlike the PM – at Albert Park is frankly ludicrous. Good grown-up talkings here.
