  1. Plenty of technical weasel-out excuses however this from Dr Duncan Webb which sounds hopeful:

    Thanks for your recent email on Palestine. You are probably aware that I have been a long time supporter of the Palestinian cause and will continue to advocate for it where I can. The motion that you refer to is currently under consideration. I am hopeful Parliament will be able to make a statement that is supportive of Palestine and its aspirations to statehood.

    I believe that if you email an mp they have no obligation to respond if it has been sent to multiple addresses, I’m not sure but it could be a technical weasel-out excuse.

    1. Having worked there, no MP has an obligation to answer anything, it is just courtesy and of course lots of MPs have an automatic response, letting you know that they will consider your letter…. doesn’t mean to have to respond.
