  2. Winston Peters and many others like him chooses to look away when it suits their political careers. As long as governments are involved in regulating ecomonies (I.e. no true free market economy) then majority of politicians do what they do best LOOK AFTER THEIR OWN INTERESTS.

  3. Well said, Sean, the silence in our Parliament is a disgrace. We frequently email the evidence of Israel’s war crimes and inhumanities to all but one of our MPs (who requested not to be bothered further by our emails!) but so far there has been no interest or action shown from anyone.

  4. Well to be fair its actually over to this coalition government not just Peters/NZF. That means in my opinion Labour NZF and the Greens all need to have their say in this matter.

  5. These comments are fine Leslie but you must also consider Israel right to self defense as a sovereign nation. The right to prevent nations surrounding it’s borders constantly attacking or attempting to attack and terrorise its people. A small country a fraction of the size of those surrounding it.
    In light of Israel’s history, it has a God given right to defend itself by use of force.

  6. Thank you for continuing to push on this issue Leslie. The stakes for Palestinians are getting very high. When the choice is between Gantz who was in charge of ‘Protective Edge’slaughter in Gaza and Netanyahu then Palestinians need all the support they can get. Winston should grow a backbone
