  1. Excellent work there, thanks Mike Treen and others, who have gone to the UK to highlight what goes on here, and what needs to be done on a wider front. We can only hope for an election upset in the UK, but we know already, Corbyn mixed the cards anew, and set a new momentum, and he seems to excite many young people, when does tired Labour in NZ finally wake up and smells the coffee???

    1. +100 (as they say over at that increasingly irrelevant – naval geezers, ex-TuRPs, and various others of an egotistical driven bent)

  2. The feeble excuses of the left in NZ are laughable excuses to seek a compromise with a system that cannot ever be compromised,, most on the left in NZ are true cowards.

    1. Perhaps they could split to form the Yellow Party for those who love to flip-flop? The Nice People’s Party. Ha!

If they’d kept Cunliffe I’d be voting Labour. But they didn’t, so I won’t be.

      1. NZer’s are not cowards, but they are often naive and susceptible to propaganda.

Corbyn and his supporters were able to turn propaganda on it’s head. Show the discourses do not stack up.

After Brexit, public are more aware of how politics can radically effect them and Corbyn’s face to face rallies and multi media anti propaganda were able to question the lies, being pumped out.

      2. Or maybe they’re just masochistic who’ve become attuned to just lying down and taking shit because they’re so tired and constantly fed utter shit by media and the consumer sussoighty.
Various forms of escapism are a lot easier.
The tide is turning tho’ Mike.
Right about now, CT are probably shitting themselves and beginning to realise their time might be up.
The smug and comfortable though (usually of a Tory bent) aren’t any smarter. Policy-wise – the Gnats in NZ, the Libs (now there’s a misnomer) in OZ, and the Conservatives in Madge’s dying domain are all copying each other – as in a kind of a copy and suckitandsee dither – all the while with Messrs Crosby and Textor clipping the ticket (No doubt having set themselves up with an escape route when it all turns to shit).
The lack of imagination and ability to see what is the bleeding obvious constantly amazes me with this gubbamint (as in “there is no housing crisis”, or austerity policies as the natives get increasingly restless, or rivers need only be ‘wadable’, or any number of other things)
The tide is turning! I just hope it turns before it gets violent (as it appears to have in today’s UK election – JUST IN TIME)

But being the sheep we are, NuZull might not be so lucky

  3. As ling as people are reduced to be shopper s and workers, and they put up with it, the idiots will not mind, and NO revolutions is likely.

  4. The best part of this vote is that it puts Mike Hosking column in it’s place. Hosking wrote ” May all the way”. Just goes to prove any idiot can get it wrong.
