Todd Muller calls for Clark’s scalp, as Ombudsman investigates quarantine
National leader Todd Muller is calling for the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to sack Health Minister David Clark.
Muller said he was appalled by the lax quarantine measures that allowed two people with the coronavirus to leave mandatory isolation.
“It’s appalling, I think New Zealanders are waking up incredibly frustrated if not angry – and I share it,” Muller told TVNZ’s Breakfast.
“We have these processes put in place by the Government and officials and we expect them to be followed,” he said.
Hold on, Muller has been screaming to open NZ up faster and wider and now.
That’s been his entire schtick to date.
“Jacinda is being too cautious and is killing the economy, we would roll back protections faster than she is.”
When he hasn’t been getting flustered in media interviews, waving his hands around, flip flopping on MAGA hats and putting Paul Goldsmith up as Māori to defend his white loaf of a front bench, Muller’s been endlessly screeching about opening up NZ faster.
However, all of a sudden, Muller has had another flip flop. After the Covid cborder ock up, Muller is changing his tune and demanding Death Star level protections???
This has been the challenge that the Government has been facing. The underfunded public health infrastructure isn’t ready for a challenge this great and neither is the border quarantine infrastructure.
Jacinda’s caution which has generated so much scorn from the Death Cult Capitalists is because she knows how threadbare the safety net here is.
This is an issue of capacity – our underfunded public health system isn’t working and cock ups like this will be pounced upon by the Opposition to evoke voter anger, this is Jacinda’s achilles heal in this election.
The genuine gratitude of people for saving them will turn viciously if the feel that sacrifice has been squandered.
Muller simply flutters in the wind with his ever shifting News Cycle positions.
He wants NZ to fail so he gets a chance to win in September.

If we look across the Tasman our Aussie mates who were praised for better covid economic management can’t even attend a rugby league match they have to use substitute people with cardboard cut outs. Me thinks they had too much takeaways like mc donalds and now they are paying for it with small outbreaks. Now wasn’t Muller (along with know it all Hoskings) part of the brigade that openly praised our Aussie mates covid management, saying they have done better than us and saying we should take our lead from them. Well in my view those fools need to eat their covid words either that of shut the f…k up.
It is inconceivable that we haven’t been testing at the border and certainly after quarantine and certainly if leaving quarantine early.
And certainly if fucking symptomatic.

It is an absolute failure of oversight and leadership that has allowed this.
Feeble border control has been a feature since day 1.

A spotty teenager with high school biology could have overseen a more fool proof quarantine.
Mr Bloomfield has had a number of occasions where his tidy summary hasn’t matched up with reality especially, but not exclusively at the border.

Two weeks ago Muller was demanding that NZ opens its boarders to China again. Now look what is happening there especially in Beijing. But I guess Muller has conveniently forgotten about his ‘demands’.
He is nothing short of an idiot just like Key, English and Bridges. They deem themselves as perfection upon the planet that have never ever made any mistakes in their political lifetime.
Surely such arrogance will be their downfall? Well I hope so.
Muddler was demanding NZ open its borders to 10,000 international students before July yesterday morning. John Campbell took him to task over it and made him look a right idiot.
That’s not quite true Simonm, Muddler looked like an idiot all on his own.
Even with Bridges drowning, Bridges still looked more likely to win an election than this dry piece of toast.
Two women from Britain have caused our record to be damaged. This virus is just so hard to control, bigger countries with wealth and power have failed their people completely. But Jacinda gets every red neck in New Zealand jumping with joy over the virus winning! What kind of people are we? We have moaned about every measure taken and yet when it goes wrong here we are again negative, believing every word a lazy media has to offer! Lets get some perceptive and some balance!
I’m afraid I don’t have any time fot Todd (Make America Great Again) Muller. His petulant statements during the covid pandemic already paint him as a hypocrite of the first order. He is right about one thing though: David Clark ABSOLUTELY MUST GO because the Ministry of Health has clearly lied to NZers concerning the two recent cases of COVID-19 imported from UK.
