Judith Collins describes previous government as ‘anti-American’

The new coalition government appears to be shifting closer into the United States’ orbit, with a senior minister signalling openness to AUKUS pillar two while describing the last government as “anti-American”.

On Monday night, Foreign Minister Winston Peters gave an address to the diplomatic corps in Wellington signalling a “reinvigoration” of security ties with the US and like-minded partners.

And on Tuesday, Defence Minister Judith Collins showed eagerness to include New Zealand in talks around the AUKUS second pillar, centring on advanced military technology.

“We’ve been very clear that we were disappointed that more hadn’t been done to include New Zealand in the second tier of AUKUS,” Collins said.

…Winston and Judith have already failed the first test of NZ Sovereignty by allowing the fucking Americans to encroach in to the Realm of NZ!

Announcement comes as US President Joe Biden prepares to host a second summit with Pacific Island leaders in Washington DC.

…why are we allowing the Realm of NZ to be encroached upon by the Americans?

Surely our job as an independent voice in the pacific is to protect our Pacific Neighbours in ensuring their agency over the interests of Washington and Beijing, especially when that pacific Neighbour is part of our Realm!

America has encroached into our Realm and neither Winston or Judith will criticise this encroachment because both are thralls of the American Military Industrial Complex!

They are both so keen to show America our subservience and acquiescence to whatever new war they want to drag us into, Judith and Winston will invite us themselves!

It will be interesting watching this pro America dynamic play out. National have betrayed NZ by enslaving us via fucking milk powder to our new economic Overlords the Chinese while Winston wants to enrol us in the US Military.

If China fear Trump winning, they will escalate their current conflict with the Phillipines and that could see an economic hit on NZ exports.

We need to be an independent Pacific Democracy, not a slave to Beijing or Washington!

    1. If the next pandemic comes, and there will be a next pandemic, while Winston is in coalition. And if the next pandemic has a 25% fatality rate, instead of the covid 1.5% fatality rate. Will Winston go along with his conspiracy supporters, and be against life saving vaccines and lockdowns and mandates and help from the WHO. Or will he show commonsense when commonsense is needed?

      1. I’ve often wondered what the death rate would have to be before anti-vaxxers get themselves vaccinated. I’ve asked one or two and all I get is “crickets”.

  2. Being an independent state is easier said than done. The fence is no longer solid timber. Today, as the final battle lines are drawn, the fence is razor wire and you can’t sit on that.

  6. I’m not sure that Winston cares too much. He seems to be on the wildest, crazy – and definitely the silliest – rodeo of his life in returning to Parliament for yet another term. Probably because he can’t possibly have much left in the proverbial gas tank.

    All respect I ever had for Winston has been fuel for his bonfire of sanity. The faster this guy is permanently out of N.Z. politics, the better it will be for everyone.
