  1. The coalition has had to do the hard stuff first but u like Labour they were not afraid to do it .The improvements will show up before the next election .

    1. Trevor this government ( if you can call them that ) is nothing but a wrecking ball just for a pittance of a tax cut. There is absolutely nothing they have done to make anyone’s lives better apart from the rich and landlords. I am not even sure where the farmers stand any more, Hoggard like Mitchell are both absentee ministers. Luxon is a lazy PM who can only sack his own women while others run amok. Winston Peters is traveling the world on our money while his corrupt MP Jones is showing the fingers to the rest of us. Seymour is denying workers their rights while spending our money as his own , remember they are only MR. 8% and Mr 6% respectively with the power of a 100% because they both know they can do whatever they like. This government is robbing Peter to pay Paul while people are losing their jobs and the government is gleeful about it. Qualified people are leaving NZ like never before and sadly a lot of them will never come back . Trevor the Labour government did all the hard yaka not this degenerate mob of charlatans

    2. Trevor there is a load of stuff the coalition didn’t have to do at all. They just got paid to do it. They didn’t have to repeal smoke free, didn’t have layoff thousands for their stupid tax cuts, didn’t have to enrich landlords who have put up rents regardless, didn’t have to repeal clean car discounts, didn’t have to go after the environment, and don’t give me some shit that they had to go after the treaty. You are in 1ZB land.

    3. What hard stuff ?

      Toilets
      Shoulder rubbing with mates
      Record Citizen flight
Posed with dogs for more cash for landlords
      Pretend to make trade deals
      Fudged numbers and spun BS
      Ignored evidence and spun BS
      Played jiggery pokery magic maths
      Employed more… ummmm
      10 hours at AandE
      Decorated the Office
      Taken selfies
Hands off the Market… suck it up people
Read the Treasury Fortmight report ?

      …..
That’s 7 months’ worth, can’t wait for the rewards

  2. I think it’s pretty obvious to all but the deluded, that the electorate what the adults back in the room and they want scatterbrain antics of a party pill popping teenagers mentallity gone…

The Clusterfuxon lead ‘Coalition of Chaos’ have, in a very short space of time, not demonstrated people’s worst fears, but exceeded them by a multiple than even the most pessimistic could not have imagined.

It is no more than a circus tent with a bunch of clueless amateur clowns running around inside doing any old stupid hair-brained thing that they think might get applause, but more importantly, make them some money.

They will not go the distance!!

Gone at the 20 month mark!!!

Their policies are just a rag-tag bunch of incoherent thoughts and reckons, so lacking in anything that resembles imperical evidence, that it is little wonder each press conference to the media lurches from one bumbling contradictory statement of verbal diarrhoea to the next….

Luxon’s chin jutting impersonation of Mussolini, trying to mask his deficiencies and demonstrate strength, could end up being an unconcious omen that even he might not want to contemplate.

Whatever….they will go down in history… for all the wrong reasons!

  3. Yep and the news for the right is only going to get worse. Charter schools will be extremely wary of taking up Seymours stupid offer, given what happened to them last time it was tried. Nobody wants them except a few extremists.
The next budget will disclose their true colours, tax cuts for the greediest. And that’ll go down like a lead balloon. As the redundancies bite, look for a huge shift outside of Auckland, back to Labour and the greens. As rates hikes bite in Auckland, they’ll lose support there too. I seriously doubt they’ll last a full term, cos Peters is no political fool, so he’ll withdraw and cause a snap election.

  4. It’s very clear that ACT party policies like eliminating all age restrictions on prostitution and child slavery are unpopular once the Jagoites expound on their views. It’s time for the centre-leftists of Labour and the Greens to stand up against them like the Maori Party is.

  5. This poll gazing is tedious. No government in the current climate is going to be flavour of the month. As for non-economic issues, the left were excessive and the right are doing what they do best – being reactionary.

    1. John Key was incredibly popular while having to deal with an economy that was dealing with the GFC. Your excuse making for this pack of idiots is bull shit.

    2. It is however, the worst government hundred day poll results in living memory. I think it probably means there policies are unpopular to say the least. God help us, Luxon is roughly equal to chippy in the preferred Prime Minister stakes and that’s just about unknown. Unless a government is about to fall.

  6. Changing topic. Just read three Green Party stories on this blog and was amused that they prompted no (not one) comments. Wonder if nobody bothers to read them or they or they are just not worth commenting on.
