Followers of a “neomasculinist” online group – who believe rape should be legalised on private property and that women are biologically determined to follow the orders of men – will meet in real-life on Saturday, in 44 locations around the world, including New Zealand.The meeting is organised by US-based “neomasculinist” and legal rape advocate, Daryush “Roosh” Valizadeh.
He has said women, transgender men and homosexual men are not invited.
In New Zealand, supporters are scheduled to converge at Aotea Square in Auckland, Dunedin Town Hall and Glover Park in Wellington.

According to its ‘About’ page, the Return of Kings tenets are: “A woman’s value significantly depends on her fertility and beauty. A man’s value significantly depends on his resources, intellect, and character.”
“Elimination of traditional sex roles and the promotion of unlimited mating choice in women unleashes their promiscuity and other negative behaviors that block family formation,” it says.
Articles written by Valizadeh and Return of Kings’ contributors express views that women should not be able to vote, that rape on private property should be legalised, that transgender women who sleep with heterosexual men are rapists and that women are biologically determined to follow the orders of men.

They say they are making this public stand to come out of the shadows, so that they don’t have to feel ashamed for wanting the legal right to rape women on private property. I suggest that men who believe this are an aberration who should feel shamed for believing this hateful sexist crap and protestors should be there to let them know they are despicable.

Bring a camera and record the assembled rape advocates to reduce any impact they may to try to have on the national discourse under feigned reasonableness. Was there a time this group of scum was supposed to be gathering?

“Bring a camera [etc] and record” then upload it online is a great idea. This should be done for the TPPA protests as well, because mainstream media are not going to show much of anything if they can help it.

I was planning on attending the meetup and can confidently say not a single man planning to attend would be a rape advocate. I’m as disgusted and horrified by rape as the next person.
Basically all the attendees we’re going to be dudes who try to sleep with women (“pick them up”) as a hobby consensually in bars and nightclubs. basically just a bunch of guys who like to fuck a lot. Also guys who believe in traditional gender roles (i.e. masculine men and feminine women) but nothing crazy.

Why on earth would any man worthy of the name even want to rape a woman, on private property or anywhere else? The poor wee things must be seriously deficient in the attracting-women department. Clearly pointing and laughing is the best response.
Roosh is a troll who won’t be attending any of these events. He is all about the churn, the spin, the clicks, the column inches and media minutes. Yes his views are abhorrent but the sum total of his followers is the number you see on his various platforms.
