Minister Called Out – Social Justice Aotearoa
“How can Kelvin Davis say, “we are investigating now we are aware of what has been happening”, when he has known for years that Oranga Tamariki Youth Detention Centres are in a terrible state” Jackie Foster
CEO of Social Justice Aotearoa, Jackie Foster has today called Kelvin Davis out for being a minister that is failing, citing every portfolio he manages as being broken nearly beyond repair.
This morning on One Breakfast show, Kelvin Davis was in defence mode when questioned by Jenny-May Clarkson, around what appeared to be an arranged fight club scenario at the Auckland Youth Detention Centre where staff sat by and watched youth fighting.
“I acknowledge that these staff members have been stood down, but that scenario is too little too late, given the systemic issues that have been appearing over the last few years,”
Where are the policies that would have stopped this, especially given Kelvin and Labour campaigned so hard on Youth Justice/Oranga Tamariki issues in the 2017 telling Aotearoa that this department was broken and there were serious issues within.
Foster went on to say “I acknowledge there is an independent investigation being led by Mike Bush and this investigation can’t come to a close soon enough, hopefully before more serious issues arise” Ends:

Wouldn’t give this organisation the time off day, given its got a bad element behind them hiding helping guide and run social justice. HES ALREADY WELL KNOWN to be corupt a liar a con man and try’s to talk the talk but really gets nowhere ripped his own family conned a lot of people from money, even working with OT kids which leaves a bad taste. SCOTT Guthrie and Jackie Foster wouldn’t trust either of them just research his name it’s appalling his history.
