Comrades, last nights Treaty Debate has generated a enormous surge in audience that saw The Working Group crack the Number 1 Politics Podcast AND the Number 1 News Podcast ratings
…and we made Number 6 in the ALL Podcast rankings…

We won’t always agree with each other, but this is NZ and we can still reach out and find apace to have these hard conversations, and that makes it a democratic victory for everyone in these polarising times.

Pre this “debate” I feared a stalemate.
Unfortunately that’s what we got.
Neither side listened to the other, as expected.
They disagreed on every point, as expected.
Both talked past each other, as expected.
Both claimed to be right but could not prove it.
Both sides claimed the other was wrong, yet neither proved that either.
Both sides have claimed “victory” as expected.
Both sides will continue to claim “victory” for the next 50 years .
So on the night it was actually a nill all draw something I also predicted in an earlier post.
