  1. Every nght Dallow spouts on in Te Reo looking smug while doing so .But under neath he is seething at the thought of doing anything Maori .The snub of Willie is just another show of how NZ is slipping back to the 1800s .My 12 year old grandson was telling me of an example at school on friday ,where a white farmers kid was telling one of the Maori boys how the white people had kicked Maori to the kerb in the 1800s and were going to do so again now .So how did this kid come up with that shit ,from his elders who have had several generations of farming on land stolen back in the 1800s kerb kicking land theft .I asked my grandson if he reminded the white boy that his family farm was stolen land and probably belongs to the Maori boys whanau .His reply was ,and get another bashing by the white brigade .My grand son is a skinny little white boy and gets the bash because he has embraced Maori studies at school and was the top student in those studies last year .

  2. If it is any consolation, Aotearoa New Zealand is not the only Western nation embracing serious sociocultural decline due to red neck policy supported dumbfuckwittery … one need look no further than the MAGA culture and the rapid implosion of the USA. Would it really be a great surprise of the previously united states became, well, not so united? That is, the USA will break into 2 or more nation states bringing in more confusion and destabilisation?

  3. TVNZ should be deeply ashamed of all it’s coverage. After your description of van Veldon on Q&A yesterday, we watched the news and there was some coverage. It must have come from another universe because there was nothing to suggest vV had been quelled.
TV3 only slightly better at times and the Herald, well, why bother?
I agree with Gordon above. Dallow spouting te reo all over the place, doesn’t mean a thing. PR at best.
The woman who shouts at us from parliament is dreadful too. She’s just another box ticked and that’s all that matters. The day is coming when she will be dispensed with.

Willie is the voice of reason and conciliation. I hope Labour doesn’t waste his talents like they wasted Parker’s. Willie would be a breath of fresh air, as leader, even if Hipkins speeches have improved. Jackson could do just as well. The Oxford debate proves that. If he takes the right by surprise, oh dear, how sad, what a pity!

    1. Yes Joy the reporting of that Q&A interview was carefully edited and sanitised on TVNZ. Sadly it appears only RNZ is putting up some sort of push back to this abysmal excuse for a govt.

  4. and all the while Luxon the robot, is “comfortable” with scapegoating and othering of Maori for political purposes. What a douche.
